Welcome to My Website
Hello
My name is Andreas, and this is my website. It hasn’t been around for long, and it’s intentionally starting simple. I wanted a place where I can share what I’m working on – a bit more considered than a LinkedIn post, and a bit more personal than a professional memo.
Why this site?
The short version: I work at the intersection of risk management, HSE, and artificial intelligence, and I keep noticing opportunities to use data in ways that rarely happen in practice. Problems that many people solve manually or by gut feeling can often be approached more intelligently with the right method.
This website is an attempt to explore that – to write down what I learn, share experiences, and maybe start some conversations along the way.
Who are you, reading this?
If you’re here, I’m guessing you’re curious about what happens when you actually use data and AI to solve problems in industries that traditionally haven’t been early adopters of new technology. Maybe you work in risk management, HSE, or compliance. Maybe you just find it interesting to see what’s possible.
Either way – welcome.
What will you find here?
Articles. Not academic papers, not marketing, but articles that explore ways to use data. Some technical, some more reflective. The common thread is that they’re about things I’ve actually worked on or thought hard about. Experiences from projects, things that worked, things that didn’t, and what I learned from them.
What you won’t find here are general AI overviews or buzzword bingo. If you want to read about “the fourth industrial revolution,” there are probably better places to go.
The difference between this and LinkedIn
On LinkedIn I share short things – comments on news, quick observations from the workday, things that catch my attention in my professional community. That’s fine for what it is.
Here it’s different. The articles are longer, more carefully developed, and a bit more personal. These are things I want to be able to refer back to – that hold up over time instead of disappearing into a feed.
A bit about me
My background is in chemistry and occupational hygiene, and I’ve worked on everything from chemical management on oil platforms to system commissioning in hospitals. Over the past few years, AI has become an increasingly significant part of what I do – not as an end in itself, but as a tool for solving real problems in regulated industries. What drives me is curiosity: what happens when you combine deep domain knowledge with technology that’s actually available today?
If you want to know more about who I am and what drives me, you can read more on the About me page.
What’s next?
The site is new, and more content is on the way. If something you read here resonates, feel free to reach out. Maybe there’s something I can help you with, or maybe you have experiences that are relevant to what I write about.
Either way – thanks for being here. I appreciate it.
